Since a young age, Lisa had been an avid dancer and joined a dance crew in Thailand where she was born and raised. She enjoyed singing as well and wanted to become a performer, leading her to audition at the 2010 YG Entertainment Auditions in Thailand. Lisa was the only person to pass the audition in 2010 and in APril of 2011, she signed as a YG Entertainment trainee.

When she arrived in korea in 2011, she did not know any Korean. With the language barrier being a big obstacle, she worked hard to take classes everyday and thank those around her who helped her adapt to the new language. With constant activities such as modeling for YG Entertainment’s street fashion brand NONA9ON and appearing in YG Entertainment’s Taeyang’s “Ringa Ringa” music video, she slowly increased her fan base.

After 6 years of training, Lisa is currently YG Entertainment’s only forein star to have debuted.
